Pauline Rintsch (*1995) lives and works in Düsseldorf. She completed her studies at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in July 2023 as a master student of Prof. Tomma Abts. In 2019 she was accepted into the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes and in 2020 she received the Best Group Art Promotion Award. Rintsch’s work has been shown at Galerie Golestani (Düsseldorf 2023) and Bruch und Dallas (Cologne 2019). She had her first solo exhibition in May 2024 at La Felce in Cologne and had her US solo debut at YveYANG in New York City in 2024. Rintsch presented her first solo exhibition at fiebach, minninger in September 2024. Pauline Rintsch’s figurative paintings reflect the collective human condition: everyday scenes and gestures, the intensity of friendship and motherhood and the complexity of interpersonal relationships. Her works are not only based on everyday experiences in her immediate surroundings, but also capture the moments when the familiar turns into the mysterious. The artist always moves on the border between real intimacy and poetic, fairy-tale fantasies.
