Her artistic work deals predominantly with questions of identity. In her photographs and installations she explores themes of migration and womanhood. In doing so, she tries to portray emotionality and mediate between subjective affect and objective observation. Her works are meant to inspire us to deal with origin, history and role and question the effects of culture, religion, family structures and politics on a female identity.
